Harry Moore is a veteran illustrator and packaging designer working on some of the hottest jobs in the industry. His credits include many of the Spongebob illustrated books, design work for Walt Disney, and package design for the "Super Hero Squad" by Hasbro Toys. In this special 2-day class, Harry will share many of the techniques that he is using today to create professional illustration work for clients like Hasbro and Nickelodeon.

The class will use real examples from projects that have been produced, and that are being worked on today. You will learn techniques that stand up to production, and that will help you become a better commercial designer and illustrator.

This class is split into two parts.

On day 1, Harry will show how he illustrated Spongebob books using Photoshop and Illustrator. Follow along with examples, and learn best practices for working in these two programs.

Day 2 will focus on packaging design. Harry will share some of his work with Hasbro Toys and SpiderMan. See how Spidey gets his stripes, and learn how seemingly simple decisions in packaging design can make a world of difference.

Each student will have their own computer workstation and WACOM Tablet to follow along with examples and practice techniques.
